Who Was Abdul Kalam?

Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October 1931. Abdul Kalam was an Indian aerospace scientist who served as the president of India from 2002 to 2007. He was the eleventh president of India. His family was poor. He was born in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. He is known as the missile man of India.

Abdul Kalam's father's name was Jainulabiddin Marakayar. His mother's name was Ashiamma Jainulabiddin. His father was a boat owner and imam of the mosque. He didn't earn more. What Did He Study?

APJ Abdul Kalam studied at Madras institute of technology. In this institute, he received a degree in aeronautical engineering in 1960. After graduation, he joined the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). DRDO is an Indian military research center. Later on, he joined ISRO - the Indian Space Research Organisation. He was not from IIT but still, he is called because he did a lot of study on Aerospace engineering. IIT (Indian Institutes of Technology) is a public technical institute that is owned by the Central or Union government.

At first in the morning, he used to collect and distribute newspapers to the common people of Rameswaram. He studied in school but also had to do this.
