Nazca lines are an ancient lines situated in Peru, a South American Country. Archeologists have been searching the clues of Nazca lines. They're getting closer to it. It is said that Nazca Lines were made between 500 BCE and 500 CE. The Nazca Lines represent the figure of animals and plants. It represents animals like Spider, hummingbird, cactus plant, monkey, whale, llama, duck, flower, tree, lizard and dog. Nazca lines were made by Nasca people.


What are the purpose of making Nazca Lines?

The purpose of making Nazca lines was related to water.

How Were The Nazca Lines Built?

Nasca people used wooden stakes which was attached with a rope. They set the stakes as a guide in a straight line. They repeated this process and helped them making huge shape and size.

Who was the first to discover Nazca Lines?

Archaeologist Toribio Mejia Xesspe was the first person who discovered Nazca Lines in the year 1927. He was a Peruvian archaeologist.
