Khalji dynasty

Jalal-ud-din Khalji was the founder of the Khalji dynasty. He was the first ruler of the Khilji dynasty. He killed the last successor of Balban. An amazing fact is that he became the king at the age of 70 years. He ruled for a shorter period of time (for 6 years). He was assisted by Ala-ud-din Khalji, Nephew of Jalal-ud-din. Ala-ud-din was an ambitious person. He wanted what he desired. He want to become the sultan of the sultanate so he killed Jalal-ud-din Khilji and become the sultan in 1296. He did many welfare for his society.
